Jazmine Sullivan steps back on the music scene. It’s been six years since the release of her last album. She has just dropped her new project Heaux Tales. The 14-track project includes features from H.E.R, Anderson .Paak and Ari Lennox.

The R&B singer stays true to her album title and reveals “Heaux Tales.” She sings about having multiple sex partners and having no recollection of who they are. “I keep on piling on bodies, on bodies, on bodies / Yeah you getting sloppy girl / Gotta stop getting fucked up / What did I have in my cup,” sings Sullivan in her first track “Bodies (intro).”

“Antoinette’s Tale” follows after the intro. Antoinette Henry speaks on how a woman’s sexuality is viewed by society. She makes it clear that women are “sexual beings” too and should have the same liberties as men. “N***** cannot handle if a woman takes the same liberties as them…..Like our society teaches them to be so wrapped up in themselves / And their own conquests that they forget / We’re sexual beings as well,” the Henry states.

The album includes tales from five more women giving their own personal sexual perspectives. Ari Lennox is included in those five women. In her tale, she revealed that she was “willing to ruin her career” for her sexual urges. “ I was damn near willing to just let him talk to me crazy, because that s*** was out of this world…..Yes Daddy, yes, OK,” said Lennox.

The album includes two of Sullivan’s previously released songs “Lost One” and “Pick Up Your Feelings.”
