Jamie Foxx has been putting in work during quarantine…and it shows! The 52-year-old actor is bulking up to play Mike Tyson in the long-awaited biopic Finding Mike. Foxx shared a number of shirtless pictures on his Instagram page with a caption that read, “The transformation begins… ‘FINDING MIKE’. It is no secret that I have been pursuing the @miketyson biopic for some time… people always ask me when is it going to happen?… things have finally lined up…” But he’s not done yet! “I shared these early pics of the process… like I said we have a ways to go… But I am prepared to get there” he told his followers.
The intense workout includes 60 pull-ups, 60 dips, and 100 push-ups every other day.
The Oscar winner has been eyeing the role of the heavyweight champion for years now, but has officially signed onto the project now. While announcing the big news about the movie, Jamie shared what he’s most excited about. “What I’m excited about the movie is to show those moments of the different Mike. We want to show everybody evolves. Everybody comes from a good or bad place. And I think when we lay the layers on Mike Tyson in this story, I think everybody from young and old will be able to understand this man’s journey.”
