Jacquees returns with new music just before the release of his sophomore album, Round 2. “Verify” is the latest single by the R&B crooner, and he is joined by rappers Young Thug and Gunna.
The guitar-driven song has Jacquees catching feelings for a special someone, asking her to verify what he feels inside.
Yes, I love your physical, but it’s your energy (Your energy) / I got no fear to put you on a pedestal, but are you trustin’ me? (Trusting me) / I feel like I picked the right time (Ayy) to hit your line (Why?) / Girl, you all mine (Yeah, oh yeah) / Anticipatin’ for a long time (What?) / Will you verify what I feel inside? The two rappers add their catchy verses at the very beginning of the track and meet Jacquees’ smooth vocals in the middle. “Verify” follows the Lil Keed and Lil Gotit assisted song, “Hot for Me”. Both songs will be featured on Round 2, but no word yet on when the album will drop.
