HHW: Why did you start to do music?
Lil Yella: I started to music because hiphop is a platform where I can share my story.
HHW: When did you know that it was actually going to be your career?
Lil Yella: I knew it was going to be my career when they started booking me for shows and learning that streams pay.
HHW: If you could get advice from any artist in the industry, who would it be and why?
Lil Yella: I’d have to say someone similar to myself that lived my lifestyle so Master P, Baby, TI, Jay Z, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross.
HHW: What or who influences your music?
Lil Yella: The streets Tupac Shakur, No Limit and Cash Money Records
HHW: Has anyone helped you or guided you in getting your foot in the industry?
Lil Yella: Some guided but never went through.
HHW: What’s the process of creating music for you?
Lil Yella: I have to feel the beat and I do not like to be around a lot of ruckus when I record.
HHW: Have you ever released an album?
Lil Yella: Dropped 10 mixtapes My first 2 albums are The Johnny Blanco Story vol. 1 and 2.
HHW: What differentiates you from other artists?
Lil Yella: I feel my diversity so I can rap and adapt to any beat in any region.
HHW: What do you hope to get out of your involvement in the music industry?
Lil Yella: I hope to make a huge impact for the culture my people and open doors for the next generation leave a positive message and Legacy in where I can live forever through music.
HHW: Are you currently on any tours or have any future shows booked?
Lil Yella: I started my tour out in my hometown Baton Rouge. Starting November 15 I’m heading out to Minnesota, Boston,Miami,Atlanta,New York, and California….
