Kenneth Grant is a renowned Miami-based realtor with a goal of expanding his empire. He is the owner of the number 1 brokerage in South Florida, Grant & Associates Real Estate, Inc and has built a respected and recognizable brand with the addition of his luxury car concierge service company, High Rollers Luxury. 

With a wealth of experience in real estate, law and business negotiations, Kenneth skillfully structures deals designed to put clients in their dream homes, providing expert guidance and utilizing an abundance of professional resources when selling their homes while also extending luxury car services. Kenneth sets an incomparable standard amongst his peers. Kenneth has had the privilege to work with some of the top athletes and talented individuals across professional sports, music and entertainment. He’s built a solid reputation with his hometown clients in Miami Gardens. With over 10 years of experience, he credits much of his success to his prayer, persistence, support from family and a relentless work ethic. 

We spoke with Kenneth in the interview below to learn more about his success as a real estate broker, CEO and father.

HHW: Where did you grow up and how did you get to where you are today?

Kenneth Grant: I was born and raised in Miami Gardens, a neighborhood located north of Miami. I had my first daughter at a young age. I didn’t want to struggle. I received my bachelor degree from Florida International University in Psychology and didn’t enjoy that field at all so I transitioned to real estate. It helped that my parents have established careers in real estate, so I was able to gain insight from them in building my real estate career. I also worked as a paralegal for 10 years in various real estate law firms prior to opening my own brokerage.

HHW:  What inspired you to start in real estate and how did you motivate yourself to keep going?

Kenneth Grant: Honestly, my father instilled in me the importance of being a provider for the family no matter what circumstance you’ve got going on. I had my first daughter at a young age and I was terrified and confused.  I had to grow up fast and I wanted to make sure that my daughters were taken care of.  They’re my motivation and my reason for grinding the way I do. 

HHW: What defines an elite Real Estate broker/Entrepreneur?

Kenneth Grant: Impeccable leadership and unlimited service. I strive every day to be the best broker to my agents that I can possibly be. I believe in building a strong team with my agents who are all working toward a common vision of molding not only top producers but coaching my team to create generational wealth and legacy building through real estate.. As a people-oriented person, being able to satisfy my clients by going above and beyond is something I’m committed to on a daily basis.

HHW: What are some challenges you face during the COVID-19 Pandemic?

Kenneth Grant:  Right now in the real estate world, we’re experiencing a seller’s market, meaning there are more real estate buyers in the market than there are sellers. When demand is higher than supply, home prices increase which benefits sellers, making it difficult to negotiate a seller’s credit. Despite this challenge, as a realtor, I make it a point to fight and be persistent in negotiating, leading to securing the best possible deal for my clients.
