The music industry has seen several new talents rise and disappear in the last decade. It becomes increasingly difficult for an artist to reclaim their position after years away from the space in an industry that thrives solely on trends and young talent. Seno, the music artist and songwriter, defied every prevalent norm in the industry to reclaim his position with renewed vigor and energy after being away for 5 years. It was not easy for him initially, but he aced it with a will of steel and rock-solid confidence. Seno, formally known as Stefan Morales, was one of the lead members of the band Backhouse. Born and brought up in Florida, a Texan by origin, his natural talent was nurtured by the best of both worlds. He grew up listening to Texan rock, which profoundly influenced his style and was further honed by the South Florida vibe. His life changed when he met a group of like-minded young talents and soon formed a band. They named the band Backhouse, and it initially consisted of Seno, Slyte, Dominic Fike, and Ike Lysergic. They were later joined by Matt Black and Alex Fike.
As the band started becoming popular in the Florida music scene, it was joined by three other members: Contradash, Nate Traveller, and Terry Prism as associates. The hard work and joint effort soon paid off, bringing Backhouse much recognition as an electrifying live band at popular shows and concerts. This exposure also earned Seno some recognition for his talent. The studio rehearsals and his exposure to a wider audience finally helped him hone his craft from hard-hitting rap to a more melodic undertone that was loved by his audience.
The overwhelming response from his fans encouraged Seno to launch his debut project, Stories, in 2016. Unfortunately, just as his career was about to take off, marking his official entry to the music industry as an independent artist, it was stalled for 5 long years. Seno was involved in an illegal firearm lawsuit that brought his career to an absolute standstill until his 5-year plea ended.
The situation was hard for Seno to accept, but it did not deter him from pursuing his goals. After 5 years, Seno restarted his career, reconnecting with his old bandmates, who were more than just friends or band members to Seno – they were his brothers. This helped him resume his career from where it paused 5 years earlier. After a few live performances, Seno created the same magic and brought back the lost charm in his performances. He gradually began to get offers from big labels in the industry. Even though Seno has had no new releases since he resumed his career, he is excited to have a list of promising upcoming projects. He believes his expectant fans will be enthralled like never before by what he creates. By working on these projects, Seno is now more confident than ever about storming the industry with fresh music and unconventional compositions that will leave the audience craving for more. However, given a chance, he still wants to return to the stage to perform live for an audience of thousands because that’s where he feels fulfilled as an artist
