Sweetapple Wes is an American alternative hip-hop artist who turned the low points in his life into inspiration for his music. Striking a chord with millennials, Wes grew up as an only child in a broken home. He eventually turned to music after ending up dealing and using drugs in his early teens, and used it as a way to distress and escape reality.

Relatable to many, Wes’s story is one of battles and triumphs, and he is now a rising star in the hip-hop scene. With music that hits the soul, Wes’s unique storytelling abilities set him apart from the rest, and have helped him to grow in popularity.

Now having had two songs chart on the Top 150 Independent Hip-Hop/B&B charts and hitting 100k listeners on Spotify one month, Wes’s career is on an upward bound. He has been featured on countless radio and podcast interviews including iHeart Radio. With his track “cigarettes”, he got over 500k views on his first official music video that was directed by Rob Terrell, and he also inked a single distribution deal with Sony Music for this track.

Despite all the trials and tribulations he’s faced, Wes knows that he is not alone through this journey He understands all too well the challenges of life and the music industry, and isn’t afraid to speak his mind when necessary.
