The music industry has always cultivated collaborations among artists, producers, and labels and the next up seems to be a team out of Milwaukee, WI. 54 Baby Trey and his label Blackout Entertainment have put together notable recent success that has pushed both the artist and the label into industry discussions. Trey began a love for music at the age of nine watching B.E.T and watching much of his family involved in the industry or trying to make it. However, it was not always a smooth journey for the young artist as he has overcome prison time and watched his mom struggle, along with the challenges of building a career. He explains, “[I] grew up rapping, living a rough life, not having too much, and taking the rap game seriously opened up so many more doors to my success and for the business I love.” Now, he hopes to continue gaining traction with the upcoming releases of his singles “Switching Whips” and “Rock my Teflon”. 54 Baby Trey should be one to keep an eye on for years to come.
