Introduce yourself to our readers! Let them know your name, where you’re from & the name of the project you’re about to drop!

What’s up Hip Hop Weekly! My name is G.O aka Game Over. I’m an artist out of Jersey City signed to Hoolienation and I just released my latest single “Shyne” featuring Axel Leon which is off my upcoming album entitled “Checkmate” so make sure you go check out this classic Hip Hop Collab. Out now on all platforms!

G.O- Big Congratulations are in order! You debuted the music video for Shyne featuring Axel Leon. Beat Produced by @SpeedyBabyy with special guest appearances by viral Comedians @KenStarrrz @MarcReign. The song was Executively Produced by @Rgm150, Directed @Shready_ Hoolie Nation LLC on 1/13/201. The video went viral upon its release. To date it already has well over 100K You Tube views! Tell the readers about the concept of the video and why you think the fans went so crazy for it?

Well the video itself it just different! I don’t think the fans expected that from me this time around. The creative concept is that we made a skit and made it funny. I told a story with the visuals and through the lyrics. Instagram comedians Ken Starrs and Marc Reign are in the video trying to get Ken’s girl back that’s caught in an entanglement with one of the Hoolies. We did 4 videos 4 days straight in a row that weekend and I knew I had to think outside the box. Like how can we make it different? So I had this idea. We made a skit and it made sense because they are all from the Bronx although the video is filmed in North Bergen. I think the fans loved this one and it went viral because of the vibe and chemistry of all of us on camera together was there. The energy was there. We told a story. Watch the video Below!

Ok G.O! You know I’m a Lyric Lover. On your single Shyne ft Axel Leon you spit your version of The Twelve Hoolie Commandments. Tell the fans what they are!

Rule Number One keep it real that’s it, Rule Number Two always stay on your toes, Number Three never fuck with them h*es-(hold up), Number Four stay correct with the work n connect-fuck with the plug money put a slug to your neck, Number Five never lie rob or steal from your niggas, Number Six ride or die I’m talking kill for your nigga. Number Seven turn your lessons to blessings. Rule Number eight play chess not checkers (CHECHMATE). Rule Number nine forever stay on your grind. Remember Rule Number Ten always know that you Shine. Rule Eleven no sucka shit especially for no other bitch. Twelve fuck with the game if you ready for punishment.

Powerful lyrics! So is it safe to say you named this single after the Tenth Commandment? Remember Rule Number Ten always know that you Shyne?

Absolutely . I live by every single one of those Twelve Hoolie Commandments.

Then I followed that up with Real Shyt featuring Uncle Murda. This album will have features with Joel Ortiz and also Hitchcock too.

How did you get the name G.O aka Game Over?

When I spit in Cyphers I’d always come out on Top and win. And I always came in Top 3 at Showcases. Anytime I would walk into a cypher- My boy said the look on their faces when they knew it was my turn was that they knew it was Game Over. When I go into a Cypher, what I do is – I want to make a statement. That’s what you learn in life. Sometimes an L is Win and sometimes a Win is a L. That’s my secret to success. They knew it was Game Over when I got there. So my boy gave me that name because of that.

You performed in 2012 at South By South West, Opened A Show w/ Lil Boosie in Seattle, Performed with Fred the Godson in queens- and your music went viral internationally. Tell us about that.

Mind is Gone was the first song to go viral overseas- internationally. It went viral over-seas before it went viral in the US actually. I have Features with artists overseas in Germany, France, Africa. I even have a French collaboration with Sierra Fox song title “Saylavi” out in France. And RIP To Fred – ever since that show in Queens then he showed love. That was 2016.
