After a momentous year of writing and featuring on Black Coffee’s album Subconsciously, Grammy-nominated songwriter, Shapiro, returns to the music scene releasing his new EP CLOUDS.

Across 8 tracks produced by Fargo, Westendz, Jz Keys & Sammy, The Empire Records recording artist brings about a smooth sultry sound, with euphonious melodies, accompanied by quick-witted similes, metaphors, and wide-ranging storytelling, taking listeners on a 25-minute escape. The perfect addition to your Friday night vibe or your Saturday joyride down the PCH, CLOUDS is comprised of relatable victories, hardships, freedom and fun.

A depiction of temporary moments, CLOUDS illustrates and articulates shape-shifting moments of the artist’s past. Some have clouded his judgment and others have brought him clarity. Each song’s engaging flow stands out to those who can relate to the woes of life, tribulations, and love. Shapiro is a master of sound letting his music speak without distraction, continuously curating a vibe by creating a free-flowing environment sharing heartfelt emotion through each song. “You Deserve,” explores love without limits, “Distance”, explains the feeling of growing apart from someone that’s right beside you, while “Everytime” is about getting so close to someone that it creates insecurities.

CLOUDS provides listeners with a certain strength that grows from the vulnerability of our temporary moments. Each song builds upon the other, taking us to the clouds with ambient rhythms, allowing listeners to lose themselves in each musical note.

CLOUDS is available on iTunes, Pandora, Amazon Music and Apple Music. Check it out below.
