DJ Ignite – a traveling DJ who started a business fueled by love and knowledge he has for music and desires for the world to feel the same thing. The goal of his business is simple yet profound: to make people come together with music because music, unlike many things, has no borders. In his opinion, being successful in his career starts like anything else. It takes years and years of practice and repetition.
Spending his childhood being raised in the Bahamas by a single mother and grandmother, expanded his horizons musically. His mother and grandmother collected vinyl records and always listened to classical music, leaving him to have to follow suit. “Occasionally,” Ignite recalls, “she would add in her favorite artist TUPAC and a ton of 80s disco/funk tracks.”
This mindset has taken him many places and even given him the opportunity to open for hot artists like John Legend, Migos, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Boyz II Men, Justin Timberlake, T.I, Russell Simmons, Tiger Woods, Lil Jon and many more. He became a popular and established resident DJ at the world renowned Albany, a luxury resort community on the island of New Providence in The Bahamas. Opened in 2010 by Tiger Woods and other PGA professionals, Albany sits on approximately 600 acres of oceanfront property on the southwestern end of the island and is considered one of the most exclusive resorts in the world. Every year, celebrities, professional athletes, business leaders, and the world’s elite travel to the resort island to enjoy time in the sun and a world-class experience. And that is buoyed by DJ iGnite, who provides the sound that serves as the backdrop for that experience.He has one plan. One goal in mind: Make people happy.
DJ Ignite has outgrown his normal stages and is ready to take on even more this year, with the main goal to headline in and be in rotation at LIV STORY E11EVEN in Florida. The talent also plans to make his way to Vegas. Follow DJ Ignite to find when he’s bringing his sounds near you.
