Chicago’s own, Navonne Love decided to hit the booth at just 11 years old to remix Roddy Ricch‘s “High Fashion“.
When production in Hollywood shutdown due to Covid-19, in order to stay in a creative space, Navonne Love thought it would be fun to record a song. So, Navonne Love asked his dad to help him write a song. His dad asked him, “what song do you like and if he knew the lyrics to the song?” Navonne Love chose High Fashion by Roddy Ricch featuring DJ Mustard. Navonne Love became a fan of Roddy Ricch when he collaborated on “Racks in the Middle” with Nipsey Hussle (RIP), the radio version. Navonne Love and his dad co-writes the lyrical remix, a kid’s version of High Fashion. It is Navonne Love’s salute to Roddy Ricch’s artistic swag with DJ Mustard.
Industry professionals and celebrities all over confirm, talent definitely lies where you least expect it, as they were absolutely blown away by Navonne’s talent. Check out the fun, kid-approved version of “High Fashion” below.
