An artist with a story all his own, Einstein is preparing for his latest EP with the recent release of his single “Can’t Get Passed It.” This track discusses the all too relatable experience of losing your first love. It not only gives insight into the past of this amazing artist, but also shows his talent and hard work as a dedicated musician.

Having grown up around music, Einstein has always been involved in learning new instruments and being a part of the music scene. “I’ve always been pretty involved in music. Growing up, everyone I knew, from parents to friends, were always grooving whether it was in a band or otherwise. We had recording studios that we were always going to and all of these other experiences. It was a big part of what got me so interested in music. Growing up, I was always learning instruments and involved in percussions and bands. I think that kind of made it easier when I started going through rough times. It helped me to express myself when I needed it.”

Einstein draws from a variety of different genres and styles when focusing on his own music. “Growing up, I really liked big Hip Hop stars like Eminem and 50 Cent, even going back farther

like Tupac and Biggie. I liked listening to a little bit of Hip Hop growing up and then also listening to a lot of Alternative Rock like Incubus and Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as some more funky music like The Doors. I like a lot of different genres and I’ve never really hated any kind of music. That really led me to have more of an Alternative Hip Hop sound now. I mix a lot of different genres and you can see that in my upcoming EP, “Doomed”. Every song has a little bit of its own style.’

The most recent single off of “Doomed” is “Can’t Get Past It,” a song about what it is like to lose your first love through Einstein’s own perspective. “This song specifically is about losing my first love. I got to a point where I ended up over-medicating and doing some wrong and getting into some bad things. Essentially pushed away, my first high school love and I had to feel that. I had to deal with those consequences. That’s what you feel in this song. Obviously, it’s a super sad song, me not being able to get past the drugs or the fact that I had lost her over that, when she was the only one that was being there for me. This song really explores that feeling and sets the stage for the Doomed EP.”

Einstein is going to continue focusing on his new EP which will be coming out soon, but also hopes to move forward into some live performances and fun collaborations. “I want to do some smaller touring around the US and some of the cities that have already shown me love off this first song. Then I would really like to look at working with some established artists on some next songs that we’re already writing.”
