Nicole Young, the estranged wife of Dr. Dre, has filed for divorce from the music mogul, and as it stands, she wants to receive $2 million per month. This is only temporary spousal support as they finalize their divorce.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Young broke down some of her expenses as to why she needs $2 million. She has also asked for $5 million in lawyer fees.
Young recently accused Dre of domestic violence and brutality. For example, Young recalled a night in which Dre was allegedly intoxicated and started yelling swearing at her. “F*** you. F*** you. Get the f*** out. Get the f*** out. Go to Malibu,” he allegedly said to her. Young continued to say that Dre has embedded fear in her in the past and that the producer has a “history of violence and coercive control, both before and during the marriage.” Dre hasn’t responded to these recent allegations.
The couple has been married since 1996 and has two children, a son named Truice and a daughter named Truly.
