The video and single for Devon The Chief and Nef The Pharaoh’s latest single, “Lil Baby,” is out everywhere now!

Manteca, CA artist Devon The Chief and Bay Area rapper Nef The Pharaohconnect  for an incredible collab on their track “Lil Baby.” Released in February of 2021, with the visual releasing this month, emphasizing hood-love and admiring their girl, the video is eccentric and entertaining.

The song has this melodic flow and chorus that makes the track loveable and an anthem for anyone who has an ear for talent. The song features Devon The Chief’s iconic raw and electrifying sound matched with this cadence on-trend for what we expect from Devon The Chief. The video compliments the track perfectly and showcases what Devon The Chief is truly capable of as an artist.

The visual opens with Devon making love to his girl as security pounds on their door. The pair are then escorted off the premises by security. From then on, the visual gets crazier and crazier for the couple. After Devon and his girl get thrown out of the hotel, the pair enjoy a blunt cruise, followed by Devon getting arrested for confronting an employee at a pizza shop.

The video then transitions to Nef The Pharaoh, and his girl boo’d up taking pictures at a photoshoot. The pair showcase their relationship by showing their playfulness and sensual love throughout his verse. The couple exchange cute glances at each other and the camera as they have a fun and lighthearted photo shoot. Interestingly, the exact opposite of Devon The Chief and his girl. Who goes from being kicked out of the hotel to Devon getting arrested.

The visual is fun, engaging, and full of personality. From Devon The Chief to Nef The Pharaoh, there is something in this video for everyone to relate with when watching Devon and Nef’s visual! Relating is probably the most significant aspect of making music for Devon, connecting to his audience.

“I hope my music touches people in a way to where they don’t feel alone,” he said in a recent interview. “I’ve felt all the same pains! You can hear that in my music.”
