Denver Broncos’ Adam Gotsis Initiates Green & Gold Unite To Support Australia

HHW Staff

Denver Broncos’ NFL player and native Australian Adam Gotsis launches an initiative called Green and Gold Unite in hopes to bring others and professional players together for donation and fundraising purposes. Australia has seen its worst year; one of the hottest and driest of all time. Due to the intense climate changes bushfires have occurred, leaving 1500 homes destroyed. Over 10.7 million miles of land has been ruined, leaving residents displaced and without shelter. Aussie is the land of wildlife, and unfortunately, over 500 million animals and twenty-five residents have lost their lives.

While residing in the United States Adam has watched his loved ones endure these hardships. With his deep connection and ties to Australia, he’s indebted to assist with the restoration of this country.

“As many of you have already seen Australia is facing a national crisis. Australia has been devastated by the bushfires. I’m committed to raising awareness, and monetary donations; all proceeds will go to Australian organizations I’ve partnered with. Please pray for Australia, any contributions will help bring restoration to my native country.” – Adam Gotsis

We are calling upon all professional athletes to join us by raising funds, donating game-worn items (helmet, jerseys, cleats), and bringing awareness for this good cause. All game-worn items will be placed in a silent auction. Liam Hendriks, Oakland A’s MLB player, Cam Johnson (Eagles), Will Parker (Broncos), Jordan Berry (Steelers), Donovan Wilson (Cowboys), Nathan Walker (St. Louis Blues) and The Dallas Cowboys Organization have agreed to contribute to Green & Gold Unite to help Adam Gotsis (Broncos) support Australia during its time of need.

A silent auction is being held on the website –

Auction items include signed items – Superbowl tickets, Lil’ Wayne Concert Tickets, NFL Player signed cleats, helmets, Odell Beckham Jr. signed jersey, Cowboys Laser Etched Football, and more…    Wires, Victoria County Fire Authority, and NSW Rural Fire Service will receive all proceeds. Additionally, I challenge all athletes affiliated with NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, UFC, PGA Tour, professional tennis players, and fans to match my $5k donation.

We appreciate your help and contributions on behalf of Australia.
