Mogul Dame Dash’s son Dame “Boogie” Dash II has been transparent about his struggles with addiction. His battles have played out on the hit television reality series, Growing Up Hip-Hop. Now the 27-year-old is sober and looking to help others who are trying to get clean.

On Tuesday, Boogie shared a photo via Instagram of himself with his younger sister Ava Dash proudly posing in front of his newly purchased house.

“So this was a proud moment for me. I finally got a chance to take my lil sister to my first house that I ever bought! Not only is it my first house, it’s my business. A sober living. I’m out here trying to save the world an be a great big brother one day at a time.” he revealed.

Dame Dash has not commented on his sons huge accomplishment, however, it comes as no shock that the outspoken former Roc-A-Fella CEO would keep quiet on Boogie’s new venture.

An explosive scene between Ava, Boogie and their father was recently aired during an episode of Growing Up Hip Hop. As the three attempted to sort through their issues with a therapist, Dame became irate, referring to his kids as”clowns,” before storming out.

Hopefully the strained relationship with his dad will not deter him from the strides that he has made in his sobriety.

Check out his announcement below.
