The number of female rappers gracing the airwaves these days has more then tripled over the last few years. Thanks to vets like Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Lil Kim and more, female rappers are not only becoming more accepted, but they are in demand! Philadelphia native, rapper/songwriter Crystal Lalucci hit the scene a few years ago and since then has been steadily growing in popularity. A lyrical artist in every right, Crystal relocated with her team to Atlanta, Georgia for a bigger avenue to network and grow her fan base. After just 1 year of heavy performing and networking, she was nominated by the notorious underground Atlanta Hip Hop Awards for ‘Most Slept on Artist’ and won, which led to a nomination for best Female Hip Hop artist the following year.

The animated rapper who also does light dabbling in modeling and acting mentions that this year she wants to put more effort into accomplishing new accolades on her resume. This includes more roles on the big screen, new business ventures, storytelling and more. A very skilled artist she takes the ‘text book’ approach with her music. Crystal Lalucci constantly aims to not only grow her streams and fan base with every new project released but works hard to put out quality content as well. Her marketing and editorial work is always top tier, and she is an artist not afraid to take risks in front of the camera. Known for putting out steamy sexy photo shoots, the bombshell rap Queen is all about body positivity and does not pay attention to stereotypes often put on female artists.

“I’m gonna be a millionaire with Versace toothpaste so I can talk money”

With a strong work ethic and even stronger desire for success the hungry MC released a string of projects including an EP ‘Bomb Ass Pussy’ or BAP, several successful singles, and her most current project Casino, which also went on to rack up several nominations and awards including best Mixtape. Her latest single ‘Hello Bih’ out now is a dope remake of the K-Pop single ‘Hello Bitches’ by Korean Pop Star CL. Crystal Lalucci not only paid homage to the K-Pop wave, but she also laced the track with heavy bars, punchlines and proved why she lives up to her tag line ‘Lulu with the Bars.’ If it is one thing that Crystal Lalucci will give her fans every time she releases music, it is going to be substance. Never one to be shy on the track, ‘Hello Bih’ picks up right where she left off in her past mixtape ‘BAP’ rapping about getting money, living life, and being an overall bad Bitch. The video was directed by her twin sister Journalist/ Music Mogul Carisha the Diva. The dynamic duo is somehow always tied into each other’s careers with fun collabs and twin shoots.
