Colombian, South Florida Rapper QuinceLu Talks Exclusively About “Witness” Single, OxiGang Group, Drake Being His Biggest Idol & More!

We sat down with the rising talent QuinceLu to discuss his early life from being born in Colombia and moving to South Florida. It is easy to see that growing up he looked up to Pitbull calling him “one of my biggest idols,” for how he crossed over from rap to an international pop star. QuinceLu also noted that superstar Drake is one of his big influences as well.

“He’s really been a rapper that has been able to cross genres a lot, and that’s kinda where I want to go.”

You can say that QuinceLu has already done so. If you listen all the way back to his 2017 “A.L.I.E.N,” and “15Gs,” EP (Prod. by CXDY) you can hear the artist vibing on many different beats and moods to paint the story to his lyrics. Whether it’s going hard with the South Florida hip hop melodies on “Witness,” and “Quarantine,” with Remmy Rasclat. Or giving something the ladies can vibe to with “My Gurl,” QuinceLu is not afraid to be unique and stand out.

Get to know more of QuinceLu as we talked about the pros and cons to being an independent artist, his group OxiGang, 2021 goals, and more! Listen to his single “Witness,” on Hip Hop Weekly Radio and on all streaming platforms.
