A native of Cleveland, Ohio, William “Chill Will” Jones had a difficult childhood. He survived a brain tumor at a young age and was raised by parents who suffered from addiction. Chill Will was placed into the foster system, where he endured troubled homes and abusive families. However, he remained resilient and optimistic about his future and continued to press on. Believing that no matter what happens, you need to keep fighting and never give up – even when things go wrong. Music helped him endure the hardships that he faced and provided him with a positive outlook, and gave him a passion for making music. From Whitney Houston to Missy Elliot, he was proud to follow musicians who used their talents and backgrounds to stay true to themselves and thrive within the music industry.
Chill Will currently lives in Los Angeles and proudly works as a Bartender at the Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood when he isn’t creating music. He’s passionate about supporting causes like childhood cancer and helping to tackle youth homelessness. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, watching sports, and cheering on the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
