Ciara and Russell Wilson are doing their part to make folks lives a little easier during these stressful times. The couple shared a video on social media announcing that they were donating 1 million meals to Food Lifeline through the Feeding America network.
“People are losing loved ones, the elderly and the young. Think about people losing jobs.” Russell began. “What we’ve decided to do is partner up with our local food bank in Seattle, Seattle Food Lifeline, and we’re gonna donate a million meals and hopefully make a difference,” the football player continued. Ciara added, “We want to encourage everyone out there to join us in whatever way that you can, big or small.
Everything makes a difference. Everything that we do together makes a difference. Together, we will conquer this tough time we’re going through.”
Millions of people are estimated to be suffering from food shortages due to coronavirus lockdowns across the world.
