Chance the Rapper returned to Saturday Night Live last night and pulled double duty as host and musical guest. The Chicago rapper performed “Zanies and Fools” and “Handsome” from his The Big Day album, and brought out Meghan Thee Stallion as a surprise guest during the “Handsome” performance.
During the monologue, Chance showed solidarity by wearing a red Chicago Teachers Union Sweatshirt, stating he fully supports the ongoing strike. “Honestly, to the teachers in Chicago, I know you guys are on strike right now — I fully support you,” he said. “I just wish that when I was in school, my teachers went on strike. For real, though.”
Throughout the show, Chance showed off his comedic skills in several sketches, including one where he portrays a somewhat confused E-Sports reporter and one as an Earth, Wind and Fire dancer. Not only can he rap, but his acting is also on point!
