A long time musician who is just now sharing his work, BiNG is a Hip Hop artist looking to make his voice heard. His new album “At It Again” is a collection of his favorite tracks throughout the years and focuses on his single, “Party.” These tracks show his excitement and love for music as well as his talent overall.
BiNG started making music when he was in high school. He continued to grow as a musician throughout his time in college and later went in search of a record label. After discovering that he didn’t have enough of a discography for many labels, his music fell to the wayside. It was not until recently that BiNG began to take interest in making and recording music again. Now in his forties, he is back in the saddle and finally releasing music.
The music that BiNG makes is best described as being “in your face but still pretty laid back.” He draws influence from a collection of artists. “I always really liked artists like Eminem and Outkast.”
BiNG’s most recent release is his project “At It Again” featuring his favorite tracks from throughout the years. “It is a compilation of all my best work. I put a lot of work into deciding what should go onto this and really and even had to cut a few tracks out because they just weren’t good enough.” One of the tracks featured on this album is the debut single, “Party.” “I am so proud of “Party”. It is my best work or so I’ve been told.”
There was an impressive amount of work that went into the making of “Party” as it took multiple attempts to get the lyrics right and even more work to perfect the rest of the track. “I got a message from a producer in Trinidad and Tobago saying that he wanted to work with me, so I bought a track from him. The first time that I listened to the track, it didn’t really click with me, but the next time I took a look at it, I just knew it was going to be a hit. I had to have it. So I bought the track and I wrote to it and it just didn’t come out. I tried again a little later and just kept work shopping it until I came out with something that I really liked.” Once BiNG figured this out, the song really came together.
Now that he has released his album, BiNG is looking to keep promoting his work. “If I sell 300 copies, then I’ll consider this project a success.” He hopes to keep continuing his career and moving up by signing with a label. He is also on the active search for investors and hopes to build that network with anyone who is interested in supporting his music. BiNG is definitely an artist to keep an eye out for.
