Atlanta artist Bankroll Bigg has dropped his project Two Words One Finger and is offering listeners a “real, raw and organic” look into his life. He also blessed audiences with his visual for the track “Ain’t Going Broke,” which you can check out below.
“Ain’t Going Broke” is a promising effort from Bankroll Bigg. He comes hard this year and lets people know he’s no one to play with. The visual takes viewers on a journey that showcases how Bankroll Bigg is able to stand out from the rest and showcase his lyricism as someone with something to prove.
The album’s name, ‘Two Words One Finger’ can mean many different things. Upon first impression, audiences can assume it means “F-You,” or anything else up to interpretation. It could also mean, “Chosen One,” or “Number One” depending on the song you’re listening to.
Aside from the two features from other Atlanta artists Jay Vannie and Skooly, the eight-track tape is Bankroll Bigg recounting his experiences in a city that he loves so much and he is sure to share the good, the bad and the ugly. “I’m really from the gutter, all over the city [of Atlanta],” he stated in a recent interview. “I saw everything before I was even ready to jump off the porch. My experiences from the military and streets shaped me.”
Bankroll takes listeners on his transition from “hustling and trapping” and cutting hair to going legit pursuing a career in music in the intro track “Double Cup,” rapping about his hyper-focus on wanting to be so successful that if it isn’t about making money then he really doesn’t have the time for it. Whether he’s flexing just exactly what his money can get him from clothes to women in “Pay Up” or the confident sounding “I Know It,” he affirms just exactly why he is the “chosen one” rapping each song with a Southern swag only an Atlanta native could possess.
Coming after his solemn-sounding single “Jaded,” Two Words One Finger has a more spirited feel even in spite of some of its gritty subject matter, making it perfect to still be in rotation for the summer time.
