August Alsina Returns With New Single, “NOLA” & Part One Of His Documentary

August Alsina is making his long awaited return to music after a three year hiatus due to an auto-immune disease that nearly claimed his life. 
August has announced a new project titled The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy which will arrive on June 26th. The album will follow his 2015 release This Thing Called Life and will feature guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Yo Gotti, Tink, and Juicy J. 

The singer will be documenting his hardships in many of the cuts, taking listeners on his journey through losing his sister and his father. In anticipation of the mixtape, August will be debuting a new track every day up until June 26th with the first one being his latest “NOLA.” Adding to the roll out, the 27-year-old will also release a new episode of his 5-part documentary “stateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina.” Part one is available now.
