Atlanta’s very own Jacquees returns to the music scene with a fire new mixtape titled Exit 68. Released on Soundcloud, this 16-track project, is exactly what the music business needs to vibe to during quarantine. As he has an original sound and forever growing fanbase, he does a great of completing a body of work that reminds listeners of how prevalent the R&B sound is.
To ensure the success of this release, Jacquees recruited R&B songster Trey Songz. Songz appears on (“All on You”) and FYB (“More Than a Little While”) in a melodically pleasing way. Within 16 tracks, you will hear an array of notable lyrics, fire beats, and diverse topics that peak the Decatur, Georgia native’s interest. Exit 68 is named after the Wesley Chapel Rd. exit off I-20 East Interstate in Decatur, Georgia where Jacquees is from. This is a great way to pay homage to his hometown. He is shedding light on the importance of never forgetting where you come from.
As he continues to be a leading voice in R&B, Jacquees’ consistency is why he will continue to win. Be sure to checkout his new Exit 68 mixtape by pressing play below.
