A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been having a pretty exciting, record-breaking year in 2019, but the New York artist has other aspirations on the horizon and may be going on hiatus to explore his options. On Saturday, he took to his Instagram Stories to share that his next album ‘Artist 2.0’ might mark the beginning of a musical break for the artist.
“This might be my last project for a while,” the post reads. “I want to take a break from music after Artist 2.0 tour is over. There’s a lot of things I wanna do in life and it’s moving too fast for me to focus on everything at once.”
With the possible sabbatical looming, Boogie did give his fans an opportunity to suggest how much content he releases before stepping away. In a separate Instagram Story post, he stated, “I have a problem but I think it’s a good problem I guess… I got too many songs I want on Artist 2.0.” Then, he shared two polls: one asking fans if they prefer 23 songs and two bonus tracks or 25 songs with two bonus tracks; and the other option, a 20-song project or a 27-song project.
The more songs, the better A Boogie.
