2 Chainz is reportedly being sued by famous drug lord Pablo Escobar’s family for at least $10 million, over the name of his Atlanta-based restaurants. Escobar Inc., the family company, claims that Escobar Restaurant and Tapas are in violation of federal law for using Escobar’s name without any authorization. In addition, Escobar’s likeness is used on the website, social media, merchandise, and menu items.

Along with the $10 million, the estate is also seeking an injunction blocking any future use of the drug lord’s name and likeness at both restaurants. 2 Chainz has yet to react to the lawsuit.

This isn’t the first time the rapper has faced a controversy over his businesses. Just last month, Georgia police had to shut down one of the restaurants for violating social distancing rules.
