[Watch] North Carolina Artist BlockBabyMulaa Releases Visuals For “Jordan”

Blockbaby Mulaa hailing from Fayetteville, NC has loved hip hop since he was a child. “I use to beat on my desk at school, entertaining my friends as they encouraged me to make beats.” Although he noticed that he had the capabilities to rap at 16, it wasn’t until the age of 20 that he wrote his first song. “I grew up listening to Nas and Tupac, growing up in the hood I could relate to their lyrics and while other kids idolized superheroes Spiderman and Batman, Nas and Tupac were my gangster heroes.”

Blockbaby Mulaa quickly began perfecting his craft and building an undeniable fanbase in his hometown. “The moment I got the opportunity to perform at the Crown Colosseum, I knew that this [rap] was what I wanted to do full time. He was able to share the stage amongst big industry names such as; Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, instantly shaping his goals and fueling his dedication to success in the entertainment industry. His lyrics are not only relatable, but easy to understand, a mix of Trap Hip Hop and R&B. “Trap N’ B isn’t recognized as a genre, but I will change that. The support I get from those that listen to my music motivates me to keep going and now I’m ready for the world to hear.”
