From the minute Day Parkay started to take rap seriously, people doubted. His first Mixtape titled “Hoop Dreams Deflated” woke his city up. His second Mixtape, “Ghost Of Karlton Hines,” created an even larger buzz. At this point his city was riding his wave and was anticipating a major deal was coming. Getting singed is a long and strategic process and once people realized it wasn’t happening overnight Day Parkay noticed some of the people who were riding his wave jumped ship, females included. “Leave Me Alone,” is dedicated to every single person that lost faith in his career. It’s for those females who left him! It’s for those who thought his rap career was finished! Day Parkay eventually decided to go independent and his buzz shot back up so it’s only right for him to drop a track dedicated to the ones who doubted. With the help of creative director 100 A PIECE PRODUCTIONS Day Parkay created a visual of his experience dealing with the doubters.
