Featuring the talented Shatta Waleand Major Lazer, the Houston bred songstress leaves fans gasping for more as she takes a deep exploration into black beauty, culture, fashion and visual art.
Inspired by last year’s remake of The Lion King, in which Knowles-Carter curated the soundtrack to, this visual is like no other. Her vision of creating a visual that accurately depicts the story of the Lion King from her perspective is what is most impressive. From the African inspired hairstyles, to the unforgettable ensembles, Beyonce shows the world the importance of honoring the black body and beauty that behind it.
When asked about how she was able to bring this video together by Good Morning America Bey stated “I worked with a diverse group of very gifted directors and actors and creatives from all over the world to reimagine the story of The Lion King,” she said. “The narrative unfolds through music videos, fashion, dance, beautiful natural settings, and raw new talent.” Considering the times that we are currently facing while in quarantine, it is refreshing to see that one of the world’s biggest acts has not lost focus on what is important when it comes to sparking change and influencing the culture in a positive way.
In this visual you will see the mother of three, looking like black royalty engaging in several dance numbers with her on camera dance mates. One minute she is intertwined with a group of brown ladies moving as one, and the next minute she is dancing with a guy body painted in all blue. Shatta Wale who makes a cameo in “ALREADY” adds the perfect bars to compliment Beyonce’s one of a kind vocals. It is save to say that the Grammy Award Winning singer, is on track to have yet another successful year in music and art! If anyone can make the world STOP, it is without doubt Queen Bey!
