Travis Scott was cited by the city of Downey, CA, for illegal crowd assembly at McDonald’s during his meal debut.
According to TMZ, the tickets Travis were fined are for failing to obtain an event permit for a crowd over 200 people. He showed up to greet fans who were in line for his Cactus Jack meal. He also did not apply for a permit to film the greeting with the fans.
Downey police said that the crowd got up to 500 people, according to TMZ. Officers also made sure the group was under control. There were no injuries or arrests during the impromptu meet and greet. The tickets are $100 each. So in all, Travis will have to pay a fine of $200. McDonald’s will also have to pay a fine of $200.
