TI Sends His Words Of Encouragement To Those Over In Nigeria

Atlanta rapper T.I. is no stranger to the BET Hip Hop Awards. For the past decade, he has used the platform to promote political awareness, voting, and has shown support for his community.

The “King of the South” released his 11th solo studio album The L.I.B.R.A (The Legend Is Back Running Atlanta) a few weeks ago. The 20-track album includes star-studded features from 21 Savage, 42 Dugg, Benny the Butcher, Domani, Eric Bellinger, Jadakiss and more.

Hip Hop Weekly had the opportunity to check in with T.I as he gave us some encouraging mom words surrounding the year of 2020.

“I would urge you to be quiet and still. Listen to the voices inside or you. You can’t be moved my the noise of the outside world. You have to get to a more centered space and trust the process of the universe. My heart and all of my thoughts goes out to Nigeria.”

The 2020 BET “Hip Hop Awards” will premiere Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 9PM ET/PT on BET, BET Her, VH1 and MTV2.
