There Is Now a Petition To Remove Kylie Jenner From The “WAP” Video

Cardi B is celebrating the release of her provocative new single “WAP” alongside Houston breakout star Megan Thee Stallion. What should be a joyous occasion for Bardi Gang and The Hotties has quickly soured over the widely talked about cameo appearance from Kylie Jenner in the single’s sexy music video.

In fact, fans are so outraged that they have started a petition on Change.org to have the beauty mogul removed from the visual, which has attracted 51 million Youtube views in just two days. The petition has been signed by over 60,000 users.

The petition summary reads, “The video was perfect until we saw K and I wanted to throw my phone.”

Another signer of the petition wrote, “The entire family has been using blacks to stay relevant for decades. Even if the family is innocent in their intentions, damage is being done. It will continue because of their children and affiliations…and money but this is my 2 cents. We have to start somewhere. And sleeping with black men doesn’t mean you support our struggle. We are used to make [sic] things popular then tossed. Let’s support more black and brown moments on TV. We don’t make up a lot of it. Let’s represent while we can.”

Another signer said, “She is a culture vulture who doesn’t remember how her own complexion looks! down with the culture vultures!!!”

Kylie appears at the 1:40 minute mark wearing sexy cheetah attire as she struts down the colorful hallway and opens up a door where Cardi is performing surrounded by cheetahs and cheetah print decor. Fans were instantly disappointed in her cameo, partially due to her rumored part in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting last month in addition to the culture vulture claims.

Nevertheless, with an Instagram following of 188 million, which means a heightened impact , it is highly unlikely that Kylie will be cut out of the clip anytime soon.
