HHW: Introduce yourself to our readers, let them know your name and where you’re from.
Deniro: I go by the name of Deniro Banxx outta Maple Height Ohio “44137” in a small suburb in Cleveland, Ohio
HHW: Why did you start to do music?
Deniro: When I first started I was just wit my friends in a friends uncle basement at the time I was focused on trying to play football and my mom wasn’t a fan of it and I wasn’t good at. As time went by football wasn’t it and I was lost in live music was a outlet to pour my goal ambitions wants and even my hurt done and get it out I don’t like talking about my problems so if something bothers me I write about it if I want something I write about it so it just became my way of expression.
HHW: Have you had another career that wasn’t in the music industry?
Deniro: Any other career lol nah I tried to play ball but I was hard headed and I smoke toooo much bud I blew any chances I had so music and working to pay for music been it for me.
HHW: When did you know that it was actually going to be your career?
Deniro: So crazy I figured out music was fa me I when I was in college playing at Malone university it’s a Christian college in canton, Ohio I got in trouble constantly but I would come home and record and I went from terrible to actual having some talent I started working with clockwork in Cleveland on my sound I put out a project called “Banxx” on live mixtapes meet some important people that liked it even a label rep honestly was rocking wit me from it so I was never one to wanna make a career out of a 9-5 so I ran wit it.
HHW: If you could get advice from any artist in the industry, who would it be and why?
Deniro: Drake and young Dolph wit Drake I would love to see his creative process how he goes about making the music he is one of the greats in my opinion so I think learning personally from him would definitely help. With young Dolph I respect his Business and his label some artist can’t have success and have a successful artist signed to them so seeing how him and Key Glock both hot I think he could teach me a thing or two about the business.
HHW: What or who influences your music?
Deniro: Influences are Drake, Nelly, Do or Die, I love harmony and melodic sound as a kid my brother always listen to those type of artist and I was a big Nelly fan when I sound my sound it was when I start harmonizing.
HHW: What’s the process of creating music for you?
Deniro: My creative process I usually go on YouTube and look up artist I listen to or I think my sound maybe similar to once I hear a beat that really gets me I go in wit this project it’s was more like uplifting project I went thru a lot of shit the last two year that slowed down progress some personal some business and I made it out my situation stronger and in a better place so I felt like it was a victory so this was like I won you can’t stop me nobody can do I was in that vibe a lot in process.
HHW: Has anyone helped you or guided you in getting your foot in the industry?
Deniro: Yea I had people like Big Heff from my city he really help me wit knowledge and how to move and I have others involved in the industry give advice or tell me rights or wrongs I appreciate each one that has ever really took the time to speak whether good or bad i learned from it.
HHW: Have you ever released an album?
