Rapper TMG FRE$H has officially released his highly anticipated “Champagne Cry” single featuring Detroit rapper, Tee Grizzley. His California influence spews all over this record, as FRE$H proves to the music industry that he is a superstar in the making.
“Champagne Cry” stands as the first collaboration between TMG FRE$H and Tee Grizzley. The duo create an infectious vibe through the use of heavy 808’s and smooth melodic harmony. Adding auto tune to the FRE$H’s original vocals gives this song a futuristic appeal in a Travis Scott like way.
“We’re both very laid back, almost reserved. I think we both sensed that integrity in each other and we’ve been good friends ever since” says FRE$H about meeting Grizzley and recording their first single together. “This single came about while we were playing different records and when I played Champagne Cry Tee’s eyes lit up. He was like, Bro, let me jump on that. Everything else was history.”
The pair have musical chemistry that makes for a unique listening experience. “Champagne Cry” makes you want to sit poolside with a glass of champagne in calabasas. Some notable lyrics include “Got a take his life policy on my ice not insurance, bad b*****s in the penthouse going up, pounds on the table that’s getting sewed they going to roll it up”. These bars can be heard from none other than Tee Grizzley.
