Mike Tyson Is Prepared To Fight A Great White During Discovery Channel’s Shark Week⁣

Former WBA Heavyweight Champion, Iron Mike Tyson is preparing for a fight like no other. But this fight it’s not taking place in a boxing ring, nor is he coming to blows with another boxer. He’s preparing to fight against the undisputed king of the ocean, the Great White Shark. ⁣

The details on how and where “The baddest man on the planet” will take on nature’s most fearsome mammal is being kept a secret. ⁣

“Tyson vs. Jaws: The Rumble In The Reef” will take place during the 32nd installment of Discovery Channel’s famed “Shark Week” August 9. ⁣

According to Entertainment Weekly, Tyson will do battle with the shark in the name of research. ⁣

To add to the level of entertainment this is already bringing, the legendary ring announcer, Michael Buffer, will be on hand to call the fight. ⁣

In the promo released online, Tyson is seen on a beach training, breaking a surfboard knocking over shark cages, and promising “someone’s gonna get bit!”⁣

Tyson tells Entertainment Weekly that this unique and bizarre fight is a way for him to overcome some of the fears he has in life. ⁣

“I took on this challenge to overcome fears I still deal with in life. I equate this with overcoming my fear of getting back into the ring at 54 years old.” Tyson added, “I learned from this experience doing Shark Week that whatever intimidates me, I am still able to step up to the challenge of overcoming anything that would prevent me from accomplishing my life’s mission of reaching my highest potential in life and bringing me closer to God.”⁣

Fighting a shark will bring you closer to God, but if anyone dares to be lower into the water and wrestle with something as deadly as a shark, Iron Mike would be the one. ⁣
