Bay Area Artist Issam.415 Talks Music and More With HHW

Introduce Yourself to our readers, let them know your name and where you’re from

My Name is Issam.415 and I’m from San Francisco, California.

Why did you start to do music?

Music has always been a feeling in my blood, playing a lot of instruments when I was younger. I started to sing and rap more when I came to the realization of how much more I can speak with words and not just playing through an instrument. Hearing my voice perfected on a work of art gives a feeling like no other.

When did you know that it was actually going to be your career?

I knew music was going to be my career once I took my first steps into moving away from home. Moving to La and being surrounded by so much musical art, solidified my passion for being an artist.

If you could get advice from any artist in the industry, who would it be and why?

If i could get advice from one artist, it would have to be E40 or Jay Z. E40 is a legend in the bay area and to speak with him would not only be an honor, but the knowledge that both Jay Z and E40 hold is something I would love to attain. My ultimate dream is to build an empire such as Jay Z did with Rocafella Records, and to me he is the greatest rapper of all time.

What or who influences your music?

The whole culture and special swag of California is what influences my music. The warm air we experience daily followed by a purple/pink sunset is just the perfect way to explain my music. I’ve been influenced by all genres from rock and pop all the way to R&B and soul, all participating in my goal to paint a picture with my sound.

Has anyone helped you or guided you in getting your foot in the industry?

I’ve had plenty of help and I couldn’t be afraid to say it. My best friend who’s like a brother to me, Bados has helped not only shape me to be a great artist, but more importantly to be a great person. We’ve been hustling together as family and sticking together while  focusing on a family bond has ultimately allowed us to step foot in the industry.

How many albums have you recorded?

In total I’ve probably recorded about 5 or 6 albums. They just ain’t the right body of material to put out yet. Don’t worry though, the next biggest and best thing is coming!

What differentiates you from other artist?

What differentiates me from other artists the most is my voice and melodies. The way I approach a beat, you wouldn’t expect an artist in 2020 to come off the way I do. It’s all just feeling while trying to relate to the audience and explain who I am as a person.

How can artist looking for features get in contact with you?

Any artist can email me at nappyheadprod@gmail.com or instagram direct message me @issam.415

What do you hope to get out of your involvement in the music industry?

My hope in the industry is to build an Empire with my family big enough to change this world for the better, and feed everyone who has fed us and brought us into this life. This is only the first you’ll hear of NappyHead Records
