Asian Doll Opens Up About King Von’s Passing On Next Episode of ‘Peace Of Mind With Taraji’

Peace of Mind with Taraji on Facebook Watch is premiering a new episode where Asian Doll discusses her sudden loss and feelings of despair following the passing of her partner, Rapper King Von.

The interview, which will air on Monday January 4, is the moment Asian Dollis finally able to open up to hosts Taraji P. Henson and Tracie Jade in a safe space. Asian Doll shares where she was when she found out about King Von’s death and the overwhelming backlash she received mourning him on social media.

In the clip posted on Taraji’s Facebook Watch page and shared on media platforms, Asian said she received a call by an employee of the hospital’s daughter who let her know King Von had passed away. Initially, she was told he was in critical condition from being shot multiple times.

“When they were saying he was in critical condition, he had already passed away. Somebody from the hospital had got in contact with me,” Asian revealed in the clip. “One of the nurse’s daughters, she was crying on the phone…”

According to the official release from Peace of Mind With Taraji, the episode featuring Asian Doll’s interview also will have Pop Smoke’s brother as a guest. Peace of MindWith Taraji description of the episode is, “With so many young Black men being lost to violence, Taraji and Tracie speak exclusively with Asian Doll, about the loss of her partner and rapper King Von, and to Obasi Jackson, brother of Pop Smoke, about navigating grief and the toll it has taken on their mental health dealing with the sudden loss of their loved ones.”
