Q: Introduce yourself to our readers, let them know your name and where you’re from.
A: My name is Jascha Washington. Born in Hanford CA, raised in South Central, built my resume in Hollywood as an actor but always had a hand in music.
Q: How long have you been doing music?
A: It took awhile for me to take music seriously because I felt like people would think I was using music as a gimmick, but I’ve been doing music for 10 years now.
Q: Do you plan on making a career out of music?
A: I love making music and I do plan on taking it for the long haul, not to say I don’t have film plans as well.
Q: If you could get advice from any artist in the industry, who would it be and why?
A: If I could get advice from any artist it would be Meek Mill, for a few reasons but most important, is the image he creates for the youth while being able to show others not only his way but a better way also his music is fire.
Q: What or who influences your music?
A: Sounds and vibes, I used to play violin so I naturally listened to a lot of classical and jazz, the vibe you get from everyone feeling a sound the same way you do lets you experience a peace through the music. I just love music
Q: Have you ever released an album, EP, mixtape?
A: I’m working on two EPs right now, gonna release like 3 videos for the 1st and maybe 1 for the second, then sometime next year release my album.
Q: Tell our readers what to look out for next from you?
A: Me and my bro Chris Winston have an EP coming out called Twin Dragons, I’m proud of it, I want y’all to check it out, I just started my youtube channel, gonna have a lot of content on there plus any new projects will be announced on my youtube and instagram.
Q: What differentiates you from other artists?
A: What makes me different is that I’m not someone who tries to be anything I’m not , I have nothing to prove to anyone. Ukrainian rapper on a track or do a song about learning thats what I’mma do, my image won’t control my career.
Q: What do you hope to get out of your involvement in the music industry?
A: In music I hope to meet and work with a lot of talented artist, known and unknown, I started a record label this year “ Smited Records” and I want to build it to a place where I can personally pull thousands of youth out of bad situations and give them something else to look forward to.
